Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair






Transmission Fluid Cooling Valve (N509)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Hose Clamps Up to 25 mm Dia. (3094)

Hose Clip Pliers (VAS 6362)

Removing






- Remove the rear noise insulation - 2 -.

- Remove the bolts - arrows - and the heat shield - 3 -.






- Disconnect the connector - 1 -.

- Open the clamps - 2 -. Then remove both the coolant hoses and the (3094)

- Remove the transmission fluid cooling valve.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Coolant Pipes Overview ] Coolant Pipes Overview

Secure all hose connections with hose clamps appropriate for the model, refer to the Parts Catalog.

- Remove the noise insulation.

- Fill with coolant => [ Filling ] Service and Repair.
