Condition
Bluetooth does not function after replacement of the 5F (J794) information electronics 1 unit.
^ Bluetooth is deactivated and cannot be switched on via the telephone menu. Mobile phones cannot be paired to the vehicle.
In the Bluetooth menu the selections are grey and cannot be chosen.
Technical Background
Bluetooth is deactivated and must be reactivated in the information electronics 1 unit through a Guided Functions adaptation program Bluetooth mode activating/deactivating".

Service
Verify Bluetooth is deactivated.
1. In Guided Functions select 5F Information Electronics 1 (RMC MOST) J794.
2. Select Read Measuring Values.
3. Select measuring value block 96/2 and then press Done.
4. Value 1 indicates the Bluetooth is deactivated.
5. Value 0 indicates the Bluetooth is activated.
If the value is 1 continue with adapting the 5F module, channel 9.
6. Select Adaptation.
7. Select Done to continue with adaptation process.
8. Input 9 for Bluetooth mode.
9. Select Yes to activate Bluetooth.
