Condition
After replacing the Image Processing control unit, the control unit cannot be coded via SVM spec/actual.

Technical Background

The coding container located on the central server has changed for the Image Processing control unit and because of this an SVM code is required for coding any replacement control unit. Simply running an SVM specified vs. actual comparison will not code the new replacement control unit.

Production Solution

Not applicable.

Service
When replacing the Image Processing control unit (J851), perform an SVM coding using an SVM code.





Note:
If the P/N 4G0907217 is installed in the vehicle then an additional parameterization will be performed.

No software update is performed during this SVM communication.
