Bracket for the Control Motors (V110)/(V299)

Removal






- Remove the defroster door motor. Refer to => [ Defroster Door Motor (V107) ] Defroster Door Motor (V107).

- Remove the left side vent motor. Refer to => [ Left Side Vent Motor (V299) ] Left Side Vent Motor (V299).

- Remove the left center vent motor. Refer to => [ Left Center Vent Motor (V110) ] Left Center Vent Motor (V110).

- Expose the wiring harness - C -.

- Remove bolts - B -.

- Remove bracket - A -.

Installation

Installation is done is reverse order, observe the following:

Tightening specification, refer to => [ Comfort Version - Add On Parts of the A/C Unit Overview ] Comfort Version - Add On Parts of the A/C Unit Overview.

- Check the connecting elements and actuating arm to different doors - A -, - B -, and - C - for proper functioning and proper installation position.






- Install the wiring harness in the mounts so that it cannot come in contact with any moving parts (for example, the lever of the control motor).

- Install the left center vent motor. Refer to => [ Left Center Vent Motor (V110) ] Left Center Vent Motor (V110).

- Install the left side vent motor. Refer to => [ Left Side Vent Motor (V299) ] Left Side Vent Motor (V299).

- Install the defroster door motor. Refer to => [ Defroster Door Motor (V107) ] Defroster Door Motor (V107).

After completion of the repair work, perform the following work on the control head using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function:

- Read out the event memory and erase any displayed entries.

- Perform the basic setting.

- Perform the output diagnostic test mode.
