Removing

• Remove the rear lid trim.

- Remove the wiring harness from the rear lid.

- Remove the push rod cover. Refer to => [ Push Rod Cover ] Push Rod Cover.

- Disengage the upper push rod from the rear lid => [ Disengage the push rod ] Rear Lid Drive Push Rod.

- Remove the seal from the body flange and over the push rod and remove the wiring harness.

- Do the same on the opposite side of the rear lid.

Install in reverse sequence.

• When installing, align the seal with the joint - arrow - with the marking in the center of the vehicle.

• Beginning at the seam, press the seal all around onto the body flange.
