C-Pillar Trim







C-Pillar Trim

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Pry lever (80 - 200)

Removing

Follow all safety precautions when working on pyrotechnic components. Refer to => [ Pyrotechnic, Electrical and Mechanical Restraint System Components, Safety Precautions and Testing Procedures ] Testing and Inspection.

- Remove the rear seat belt guide. Refer to => [ Rear Seat Belt Guide ] Rear Seat Belt Guide.

- Remove the headliner and lay it on the seats, do not remove the windshield. Refer to => [ Headliner ] Headliner.

During the following work steps, the headliner must be removed and placed on the seat. Be very careful when doing this because the headliner bends easily.

Replace the headliner if it is bent.

- Remove the expanding clips - 1 - using pry lever (80 - 200).






- Remove the C-pillar trim - 2 - from the C-pillar - arrow - using the pry lever (80 - 200)

Installation

Follow all safety precautions when working on pyrotechnic components. Refer to => [ Pyrotechnic, Electrical and Mechanical Restraint System Components, Safety Precautions and Testing Procedures ] Testing and Inspection.

Do not pinch the head curtain airbag when installing the C-pillar trim.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
