Microphone Unit in Front Roof Module (R164)

The Microphone Unit in front roof module located in the Front Interior Light (W1) can be replaced only as a complete unit.

- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.

Removal

- Remove the front interior lamp (W1).

- Unclip the connector - 1 - from the front interior lamp and then disconnect it.






- Pry out each microphone - 2 -, - 3 - and - 4 -.

Installation

- Install in reverse order of removal.
