Windshield Washer Pump (V5)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Drip Tray

Removing






- Turn off the ignition and remove the ignition key.

- Remove the left front wheel.

- Remove the left front wheel housing liner.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 5 -.

- Place a drip tray under the windshield washer fluid reservoir.

- Release the securing clips - 3 - in the - direction of arrow - and remove the windshield washer fluid hoses - 1 and 2 - from the windshield washer pump.

- Remove the windshield washer pump - item 4 - upward out of the washer fluid reservoir.

• Replace the windshield washer pump bracket if it is damaged.






• Press the damaged bracket - 1 - out of the mount in the washer fluid reservoir - 2 - toward the outside of the vehicle - arrow - using a screwdriver.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Check the sealing grommet for damage.

- Install the left front wheel house liner.
