The internet access control module expands the functions of the external audio source connection (R199) :

• Register web radio stations and Podcasts using the WLAN-Home Network and play them in the vehicle

• Use the USB broadband modem to listen to the web radio stations while traveling

• Show WLAN-Hotspots (with USB broadband modem)

The SD-card reader is integrated in the internet access control module. The SD memory card is used for the online configuration.

The internet access control module is installed together with the external audio source connection (R199) (interface). The internet access control module (WLAN-Antenna) is attached to the air guide channel behind the glove compartment.

The USB-broadband modem is connected to the internet access control module (interface) using the adapter cables.

The fault finding is performed using the information electronics control module 1 (J794) (DTC memory).
