• Coat the bearings and the sliding surfaces with polycarbamide grease (G 052 142 A2).






1 Cable Mounting Bracket

• Selector lever cable to transmission

2 Bolt

• 23 Nm

• Quantity: 2

• For attaching the cable bracket to the transmission

3 Selector Lever Cable

• Do not bend

• The selector lever cable must be replaced if the protective sleeve is damaged.

• Refer to => [ Selector Lever Cable, Check and Adjust if Necessary ] Adjustments

• Refer to => [ Selector Lever Cable ] Selector Lever Cable

• Do not lubricate the cable eye and ball socket

4 Nut

• 13 Nm

• Quantity: 2

• For holder on transmission

5 Bracket

• For selector lever cable

6 Nut

• 8 Nm

• Quantity: 4

• For selector mechanism to body

7 Stop Buffer for Selector Lever

• Clipped into the selector mechanism

8 Selector Mechanism Function Unit

• Refer to => [ Selector Mechanism Emergency Release from P Position, with Stationary Selector Lever Cover, Activating ] Selector Mechanism Emergency Release From P Position, With Stationary Selector Lever Cover, Activating

• Refer to => [ Selector Lever Emergency Release from P Position, with Selector Lever Boot, Activating ] Selector Lever Emergency Release From P Position, With Selector Lever Boot, Activating

• Refer to => [ Selector Mechanism Function Unit ] Selector Mechanism Function Unit

• With integrated selector lever sensor system control module (J587) with selector lever (E313) , tiptronic switch (F189) , selector lever park position lock switch (F319) and selector lever solenoid (N110) , do not touch these

• Check the vehicle through Guided Fault Finding vehicle diagnostic tester.

• With integrated selector lever sensor system control module with selector lever, tiptronic switch, selector lever park position lock switch and can only be selector lever solenoid replaced with the mechanism function of the selector mechanism, refer to => [ Selector Mechanism Function Unit ] Selector Mechanism Function Unit

9 Disengaging Spring

11 Mounting Pin

• For selector lever cable on the selector mechanism

12 Bolt

• 3.5 Nm

• Quantity: 4

• For locking plate on the selector mechanism

13 Locking Plate

14 Cover

• For shift mechanism

• With seal

15 Nut

• Replace

• 9 Nm

• Quantity: 4

• Self-locking

• For cover on the selector mechanism

16 Clip

• Replace

• For selector lever cable to selector mechanism function unit
