Clutch Pedal Position Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

Clutch Position Sensor (G476)

Removing

- Press the release button - arrow - and remove the battery cover.







Observe procedures for disconnecting battery.

- With the ignition switched off, disconnect the battery Ground (GND) cable - arrow -.






- Remove battery.

Vehicles with an Air Filter Housing in Front of the Battery

- Remove the entire air filter housing.






Continued for All Vehicles

- Remove battery carrier - arrows -.






- Disconnect electrical connector - 4 -.






- Remove the clutch position sensor in direction of - arrow - from the clutch master cylinder.

• Ignore - 1 through 3 -.

Installing

- Install the clutch position sensor in the clutch master cylinder - arrow -.






- Connect the connector - 4 -.

• Ignore - 1 through 3 -.

- Install the battery tray and the battery.

- Install the air filter housing.
