Selector Lever Boot, Separating from Selector Lever Handle, Vehicles with Selector Lever Boots

Removing

- Remove the handle on the selector lever. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Handle, with Selector Lever Boot ] Selector Lever Handle, With Selector Lever Boot.

- Bind together the spring tabs - A - on the selector lever handle using a cable tie - B - as illustrated.





- Slide the sleeve for the selector lever boot - C - over the tabs - arrow -.

- Remove the cable tie and remove both the sleeve and selector lever boot from the selector lever.

Installation

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

Selector lever boot installed position

• The longer side of the frame for the selector lever boot faces the driver.

- Install the handle on the selector lever. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Handle, with Selector Lever Boot ] Selector Lever Handle, With Selector Lever Boot.
