Seat Occupied Recognition Component Overview


The passenger occupant detection system service kit is precalibrated and must not be disconnected. The service kit consists of:

• Passive Occupant Detection System Control Module -J706

• Passive Occupant Detection System Pressure Sensor -G452

• Passive Occupant Detection System Mat

• Seat cushion

• Wiring harness between the passive occupant detection system control module -J706 and passive occupant detection system pressure sensor -G452.


Follow the safety precautions for the seat occupied recognition system. Refer to => [ Passive Occupant Detection Sensor Safety Precautions ] Service Precautions.

• The seat occupied sensor is only installed in the front passenger seat.

• Do not separate from the seat pan upholstery - 6 -

• Do not release

9 Electrical Wiring Harness

• Do not separate from the Seat Occupied Recognition Pressure Sensor (G452) and Seat Occupied Recognition Control Module (J706)

10 Seat Occupied Recognition Pressure Sensor (G452)

• Is a component with the seat occupied recognition mat

• Do not disconnect the electrical connector

11 Seat Occupied Recognition Control Module (J706)

• Do not disconnect the electrical connector

12 Bolt

• 3.5 Nm
