Brake Booster Vacuum Sensor: Service and Repair






Brake Booster Vacuum Sensor only on Vehicles with Optimized Hydraulic Brake Booster

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051 B) or (VAS 5052)

The Brake Booster Vacuum Sensor (G483) does not require calibration after replacing.

The electrical test is described in Guided Fault Finding.

Removing

- Remove the battery.

- Remove the battery carrier - arrows -.






- Disconnect the connector - 1 -.






- Slide back the locking ring - 1 - on the optimized hydraulic brake booster and remove the sensor - 2 -.






Installing

Installation is in reverse sequence.
