Brake Booster Vacuum Sensor only on Vehicles with Optimized Hydraulic Brake Booster
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
• Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051 B) or (VAS 5052)
• The Brake Booster Vacuum Sensor (G483) does not require calibration after replacing.
• The electrical test is described in Guided Fault Finding.
Removing
- Remove the battery.
- Remove the battery carrier - arrows -.
- Disconnect the connector - 1 -.
- Slide back the locking ring - 1 - on the optimized hydraulic brake booster and remove the sensor - 2 -.
Installing
Installation is in reverse sequence.
