Removing

- Disconnect battery ground wire.

- Observe airbag system safety precautions.

- Remove driver's airbag.

- Disconnect electrical connection - 2 -.





- Rotate buttons - 1 - inward (to steering wheel center point) and remove.

Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal.

- Make sure that all connections have engaged and lines lie in corresponding guides.

Tiptronic Switch, with Roller Buttons

Removing

- Remove driver's airbag.

- Disconnect trim ring from steering wheel.

- Slide multifunction button - 2 - out of steering wheel in - direction of arrow -.





- Turn the button around.

- Disconnect the connector - 2 - from the multifunction button - 1 -.





- Remove screw - arrow - and remove Tiptronic switch downward.





Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal.

Removal and installation of the left switch is identical.
