Belt Guide

• Do not rotate bolts - 3 - under any circumstances when removing and installing belt guide - 1 -. They are adjusted by the manufacturer.





• If damaged, replace entire belt guide - 1 -.

1 Belt Guide

Removing

- Remove lower A-pillar trim. Refer to => [ Lower A-Pillar Trim ] Lower A-Pillar Trim.

- Remove the rear bench seat. Refer to => [ Rear Bench Seat ] Rear Bench Seat.

- Remove sill panel trim. Refer to => [ Sill Panel Strip ] Sill Panel Strip.

- Remove the luggage compartment floor covering.

- Remove 1/3 rear seat backrest. Refer to => [ Left 1/3 and Right 2/3 Backrest without Center Armrest Component Overview ] Left 1/3 and Right 2/3 Backrest Without Center Armrest Component Overview.

- Remove 2/3 rear seat backrest. Refer to => [ Left 1/3 or Right 2/3 Backrest ] Left 1/3 or Right 2/3 Backrest.

- Disengage strap at rear lid bracket and remove rear shelf back out of mounts on luggage compartment side trim.

- Remove the rear lid end piece trim panel: FWD vehicles, refer to => [ Rear Cross Panel Trim Component Overview, FWD ] Rear Cross Panel Trim Component Overview, FWD, AWD vehicles, refer to => [ Rear Cross Panel Trim Component Overview, AWD ] Rear Cross Panel Trim Component Overview, AWD.

- Remove luggage compartment side trim. Refer to => [ Luggage Compartment Side Trim ] Luggage Compartment Side Trim.

- Remove rear outer floor assembly anchorage point. Refer to => [ Outer Rear Floor Assembly Anchorage Point ] Outer Rear Floor Assembly Anchorage Point.

- Remove rear three-point seat belt. Refer to => [ Rear Three-Point Seat Belt ] Rear Three-Point Seat Belt.

- Press spring latch - 7 - upward from below using flat-head screwdriver.

- At the same time, pull belt guide - 1 - back so washers under bolt heads come out of the keyhole-shaped cut-outs in the console - 5 -.

- Remove belt guide - 1 - upward.

Installation

- Place belt guide - 1 - on console - 5 -.

- Align belt guide - 1 - so bolts with washers - 6 - are located above the large holes in the keyhole-shaped cut-out.

- Press belt guide - 1 - from above and slide it under pressure in direction of arrow, as far as stop. Make sure the spring tab audibly locks in place.

Further installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

• To remove cover, cut-out must always face down

• Do not rotate bolt position under any circumstances during removal and installation. It is set by the manufacturer.
