Test Conditions

For Testing Fuel Pumps

• Battery voltage at least 12.5 V.

• Fuse for fuel pump OK.

• Fuel pump relay (J17) OK.

• Fuel tank at least 1/4 filled.

• Fuel filter OK (not dirty)

• Fuel lines OK (not plugged, not kinked).

For Testing Tandem Pumps

• Fuel tank at least 1/4 filled.

• Fuel filter OK (not dirty)

• Fuel lines OK (not plugged, not kinked).

• Coolant temperature at least 85 °C (185 °F).

• Pump-Injector Unit OK.

• Electric fuel pump OK
