1 Bolt

• 26 Nm

2 Securing Strap

• Locating point (hole) points in driving direction

3 Heat Shield

• For fuel tank

4 Fuel Supply Line

• Black

• To fuel filter

• Do not kink

• Clipped in on fuel tank

5 Fuel Return Line

• Blue

• From fuel cooler

• Do not kink

• Clipped in on fuel tank

6 Electrical Harness Connector

• For transfer fuel pump (G6) and fuel level sensor (G)

7 Gasket

• Replace if damaged

8 Cap

• Attached to the fuel tank insert with a fastening device

9 Ground (GND) Connection

• For discharging electrostatic charge

• Installed location

• Make sure the connector is secure and then tighten the wire with collar bolt for fuel filler tube - 10 -

• After installing, check the electrical connection of the metal ring on the fuel filler neck to a bare area of the chassis an using Ohm meter - Specified value: approximately 0 ohms

10 Collar Bolt

• 11 Nm

• Serves to secure fuel filler neck and Ground (GND) connection - 9 -

11 Fuel Tank

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fuel Tank with Attachments ] Fuel Tank With Attachments

12 Bolt

• 26 Nm

13 Lock Washer

• Removing: turning to the left

• Installing: tighten to 2 Nm

Installation Position of Ground (GND) Connection

- Route ground (GND) connection as shown in figure.

- First, engage the ground (GND) connection contact - 4 - into the opening on fuel tank - 1 -. Then install the bushing - 5 -.






- Ensure connector of ground (GND) connection - 3 - fits securely at metal ring - 2 - of fuel filler tube.

- Fasten wire contact of ground (GND) connection with collar bolt - arrow - for fuel filler tube.







After installing, check electrical connection of metal ring at fuel filler tube to a blank portion of chassis using Ohm meter:

• Specified value: approximately 0 ohm.
