• Maintain clean working conditions. Contamination must not enter the fuel system.
• Check one cylinder after another.
- Dry all cleaned components.
Begin with cylinder 1.
- Remove the union nut on the cylinder 1 fuel rail and loosen the union nut on the injector unit just a little using the (T40055). Seal the open connection on the injector line.
- Seal the open connection with the (T40204).
- The connector for the injector that will be checked must be connected.
- Erase all DTC memories.
- Perform a road test.
• If the correct injector is found, there will not be a DTC memory regarding "positive control deviation".
• There could be other DTCs. These new DTCs can be ignored. They are occurring as a result of the work being done.
- After the road test, check the DTC memory. If there is a DTC regarding "positive control deviation", repeat the steps for all connections until the DTC is no longer present after a road test.
Follow the installation instructions for all injector lines.
- Coat the threads on the union nuts with fuel.
- Tighten the union nuts for the high-pressure lines by hand. Make sure it fits free-of-tension.
