Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3






Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3

Removing

- Remove the engine cover - arrows -.





- Remove the heat shield boot and then remove exhaust pressure sensor 1 (G450) - 3 -.





- Remove the clamp - 1 -.

- Disconnect the - 5 - exhaust gas temperature sensor 3 (G495) connector and free up the wire.





- Remove the noise insulation - 1 -.





- Remove the clamp - 2 -.





- Remove the nuts - 2 -.





Ignore - 1 -.

- Remove the bolt - 4 - and push the particulate filter toward the rear.





- Loosen the nut - 2 -.





- Remove exhaust gas temperature sensor 3 - 1 -.

Installing

Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Particulate Filter and NOx Absorption Catalytic Converter Assembly Overview ] Particulate Filter and NOx Absorption Catalytic Converter Assembly Overview.

Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Exhaust Temperature Control Assembly Overview ] Exhaust Temperature Control Assembly Overview.

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

Coat the thread on the temperature sensor with hot bolt paste. Refer to the electronic parts catalog ETKA.

During installation, all cable ties must be installed at the same location.

Pay attention the installed position of the exhaust gas temperature sensor 3 => [ Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor

- Install exhaust pressure sensor 1.

- Install the noise insulation.
