Oxygen Sensor (O2S) after Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) (G130) with Heater for Oxygen Sensor (O2S) 1 after Catalytic Converter (Z29)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Ring Spanner 7-Piece Set (3337)

Removing

- Remove the nuts - arrows - and slightly pull the underbody cover downward.






- Separate the electrical connector - 3 - of the Oxygen Sensor (O2S) after Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC).






- Free up the line connection - arrow -.






- Remove the O2S after TWC using a tool from the (3337).

Installing

Note the following when installing:

New oxygen sensors are coated with assembly paste; the paste must not get into slots of oxygen sensor body.

For a used oxygen sensor, only coat threads with hot bolt paste. This paste must not come into contact with oxygen sensor slots. Hot bolt paste, refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA)

Always install the oxygen sensor wire in the same location so it does not come into contact with the exhaust pipe.
