Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface

Removing

- If the control module was replaced, select the Replace function for the respective control module in Guided Fault Finding or Guided Functions.

- Select the function or path






- Follow the instructions on the Vehicle Diagnosis Tester display.

- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Remove driver's storage compartment.

- Remove the screw - arrow - and then remove the air guide - 1 -.






- Release retaining clips - 1 - and - 6 - by pressing them together - arrows -.






- Disengage retaining tab - 2 - on bracket - 3 -.

- Disconnect the connector - 4 - and remove the data bus on board diagnostic interface (J533) - item 5 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

If the data bus on board diagnostic interface was replace, it must be coded again.

- Select the function or path






- Follow the instructions on the Vehicle Diagnosis Tester display.

- Install air duct.

- Install driver's storage compartment.
