Brake Lamp Switch on Master Brake Cylinder

Removing

• The brake lamp switch is installed on the brake master cylinder.

• The brake lamp switch is not adjusted.

- Disconnect electrical connector - 1 -.






- Remove brake lamp switch retaining bolt - 2 - from brake master cylinder.

- Remove brake lamp switch down from brake master cylinder and remove switch upward from retaining tab.

Installing

- Installation is in reverse order of removal. Make sure that top of switch is seated correctly in retaining tab when doing so.

- Tighten the brake lamp switch to 5 Nm.
