Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor on Radiator

Removing

• Engine cold.

- Briefly open the coolant reservoir cap to reduce the residual pressure in the coolant system.

- Remove the noise insulation - 1 -.





- Disconnect electrical connector - 1 - on engine coolant temperature sensor on radiator (G83).





- Remove the clip - 2 - and pull the engine coolant temperature sensor on radiator off the coolant pipe.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

• Replace O-ring.

• Install the new engine coolant temperature sensor on radiator immediately to prevent coolant loss.

- Check coolant level => [ Check coolant level. ] Procedures.
