Brake System Vacuum Pump

Test sequence

- Drive vehicle onto lifting platform, shut off engine.

- Start the engine.

• During starting, the brake system vacuum pump (V192) (on left of subframe, in front of steering gear) must run briefly.

If the brake system vacuum pump does not run.

- Check DTC memory of engine control module (ECM).
