Rear Lid Spoiler Overview






1 Spoiler

• Removing:

- Lid trim removed.

- Remove the bolts - 4 - and - 6 -.

- Warm the lid near the adhesive with a hot air blower and remove the spoiler.

• Installing:

- Remove any adhesive still on the lid.

- Lid must be free of dust and grease in adhesion area.

- Clean the lid with cleaning solution (D 009 401 04).

- Pull protective foil from adhesive tape shortly before installation.

- Guide the wiring set through the lid and mount the spoiler

- Press the spoiler starting in the center and then over the entire width.

- Tighten the bolts to the tightening specification.

- Connect the connector to the wiring set and pull the foam tube over the connector.

- Install the rear lid trim panel.

• Remove the protective film just before installing the spoiler.

4 Bolt

• 4 Nm

5 Window

6 Bolt

• 2.5 Nm
