Base Support Cover and Bracket






1 Base Support Cover

Removing

- Remove driver side storage compartment. Refer to => [ Driver Side Storage Compartment ] Driver Side Storage Compartment.

- Remove lower A-pillar trim. Refer to => [ Lower A-Pillar Trim ] Lower A-Pillar Trim.

- Remove the bolt - 7 -.

- Slide base support cover upward until tab - 6 - disengages from base support bracket window - 3 -.

- Remove base support cover.

Installation

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- Ensure tabs - 6 - engage correctly in base support bracket recess - 3 -.

Removing

- Remove steering column universal joint cover.

- Remove base support cover - 1 -.

- Remove sill panel trim.

- Peel floor covering back in base support area.

- Remove nuts - 5 - (quantity: 3).

- Remove base support bracket - 3 -.

Installation

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.

• Joined firmly with base support cover

7 Bolt
