Alarm Horn

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Angled hand drill

• 8.5 mm diameter drill

Removing






Component location is inside the right front wheel housing under the wheel housing liner

- Remove front right wheel housing liner.

- Drill out shear bolt - arrow - with an angled hand drill and 8.5 mm diameter bit.

- Disengage the housing - 1 - and horn (H12).

- Disconnect electrical connector - 3 -.






- Remove the cap nut - 1 - and remove the horn - item 2 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

- Engage the retaining tab into the opening on the web plate.

- Tighten the screw until the snap head breaks off.
