Determine Location of Problem

• Vehicle Diagnostic Tester
Procedure
It is very difficult to find the exact location of the problem. Replace the damaged fiber-optic cable and lay a new wire parallel to the defective fiber-optic cable.
• Select the damaged fiber-optic cable components with the "Guided Fault Finding" or "Guided Functions" from the vehicle diagnostic tester menu options.
• A fiber-optic cable that needs repair is represented by a "yellow" color.
- Connect the vehicle diagnostic tester and turn on the ignition.
- Select the following menu items:
• Guided Functions or Guided Functions
• GO TO
• Select Function/Component Selection
• Body
• Electrical Equipment
• 01 - OBD capable systems
• Ring Break Diagnosis
- Remove the affected components.
- Disconnect the connector from the components.
- Assemble the fiber-optic cable:
