Rear Brake Caliper Piston, Pressing Back

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Resetting and extracting tool (T10165)

Before pushing back the piston, siphon some of the brake fluid out of the brake fluid reservoir. To extract brake fluid from the brake fluid reservoir, use a bleeder bottle or a plastic bottle that only comes into contact with brake fluid.

Brake fluid is poisonous. NEVER siphon brake fluid with your mouth!

- Position (T10165) on brake caliper housing piston.






- Install pistons at knurling wheel of (T10165) by turning clockwise. Do not damage protective caps.

If the piston is difficult to move, use a 13 mm open end wrench on the flats - arrow - provided for this purpose.
