1 End Plate

• With left convertible top closed position switch (F411) , right convertible top closed position switch (F412).

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ End Plate ] End Plate.

2 Bolt

• Quantity: 4

• Replacing

3 Convertible Top Lock

• With convertible top left lock switch (F169) , convertible top latch -open- switch (F294).

• Are preset above the locking rods.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Lock ] Lock.

4 Grommet

• Mounted to the back of the motor.

5 Convertible Top

6 Convertible Top Locking Motor (V223)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Locking Motor (V223) ] Locking Motor (V223).

7 Convertible Top Latch Motor

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Latch Drive Motor ] Latch Drive Motor.

8 Bolt

• 9 Nm

• Quantity: 4

9 Bolt

• 10 Nm

10 Bolt

• 15 Nm

• Quantity: 3

Convertible top lock, tightening specification and sequence





- Tighten the bolts in the sequence - a through d - to 9 Nm.
