Voice Activation Microphone: Service and Repair

Microphone Unit

The Microphone Unit (R164) located in the Front Interior Light (W1) can be replaced only as a complete unit.

- Switch off all electrical consumers.

- Remove the ignition key.

Removing

- Remove the Front Interior Light (W1).

- Disconnect electrical connection - 1 -.





- Pry microphones - 2 - and - 4 - out of Front Interior Light (W1) - 3 - - arrows -.

Installing

- Install in reverse order.
