Transmission Support and Bracket

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Engine-/Gearbox Jack (V.A.G 1383 A)

• Transmission Support (T10337)

Removing

- Activate the vehicle lift mode in vehicles with air suspension.

- Remove the bolts and the rear noise insulation - 2 -.






- Set the (V.A.G 1383 A) using the (T10337) underneath the transfer case.






- Remove bolts - 1, 2 - for the transmission support.






- Lower the transfer case slightly.

- Remove the transfer support from the transfer case bracket - arrows -.






- Remove bolts - 1, 2 - and remove the bracket from the transfer case.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Transmission Support and Bracket Overview ] Transmission Support and Bracket Overview.

- Deactivate the vehicle lift mode for vehicles with air suspension.
