Headrest

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Release Lever (T10039)

Removing






- Remove cover and padding from backrest. Refer to => [ Backrest Cover and Padding ] Backrest Cover and Padding.

- Press the cover and padding to the side so that control cable - 2 - is accessible.

• The cable routing - 2 - can deviate, refer to => [ (Item 5) Cable ] Headrest Overview.

- Pry clips - 1 - out of the backrest with the (T10039).


The cable must be pried out only as described otherwise it will get damaged.

- Place a screwdriver on point - A -.






- Pry control cable - 1 - in the - direction of the arrow - from control cable bracket - 2 -.

- Remove cable - 1 - from clip - 3 - and disengage cable.

- Remove the bolts - 1 -.






- When removing headrests, ensure cable is not jammed.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Clean nut threads for screws - 1 -.

- Insert screws - 1 -.
