Reduced Oil Pressure Switch (F378)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Assembly Tool (T10118)

• Socket 24 mm and Jointed Extension (T40175)

Removing

- Remove the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) cooler pump (V400). Refer to => [ EGR Cooler Pump ] EGR Cooler Pump.

- Loosen the hose clamp - 2 -, remove the coolant hose and move it to the side.






• Ignore - 1 and 3 -.

- Disconnect the connector - arrow - using the (T10118) and free up the wire.






- Remove the reduced oil pressure switch using the (T40175).

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Oil Cooler, Pressure Regulator Valve and Oil Filter Housing Overview ] Oil Cooler, Pressure Regulator Valve and Oil Filter Housing Overview.

• Replace the seal.

• Secure all hose connections with hose clamps appropriate for the model, refer to the Parts Catalog.

- Install the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler pump. Refer to => [ EGR Cooler Pump ] EGR Cooler Pump.
