Customer may report transmission warning lamp illuminated in instrument cluster.
Technical Background
Fault code P074100 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Performance or Stuck Off is stored in TCM.
Production Solution
New software in the Transmission Control Module (J217) addresses the condition.
Service
SVM Update Instructions
1. Follow all instructions in the attached TSB 2011732 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.
2. Update the Transmission control unit (J217) using the SVM action ode as listed in the table above if necessary.
3. Clear adaptations and perform test drive adaptation through GFF for 2011 model year.
4. Clear adaptations and perform standstill adaptation for 2012 and 2013 model year only.
