Upper Transverse Link, Tie Rod, Coil Spring, Lower Control Arm and Level Control System Sensor Assembly Overview
1 Bolt
• 70 Nm + 180° turn
• Always replace if removed.
• Must be tightened in the curb weight position. Refer to => [ Wheel Bearing, with Coil Spring, Lifting to Curb Weight Position ] Rear Suspension.
2 Securing Clip
3 Left Rear Level Control System Sensor (G76)
• The only sensors that may be installed must be the same type.
• Complete with components.
• The sensor lever points toward the outside.
• Replace in vehicle. Refer to => [ Level Control System Sensor ] Rear Suspension.
• Check the basic setting for the headlamp adjustment after loosening.
• The control position must be "retaught" if the vehicle level sensor has been removed or installed, or if the linkage rod has loosened, in vehicles equipped with electronic damping. Refer to => [ Control Position, Programming using VAS 5051B ] Testing and Inspection.
• The directional stabilization assistance control module (J759) must be recalibrated if the control position has been "retaught" in vehicles equipped with lane assist. Refer to => [ Lane Assist Calibration Procedure ] Lane Assist Calibration Procedure.
4 Subframe
5 Bolt
• 70 Nm + 180° turn
• Always replace if removed.
• Must be tightened in the curb weight position. Refer to => [ Wheel Bearing, with Coil Spring, Lifting to Curb Weight Position ] Rear Suspension.
6 Upper Control Arm
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Upper Transverse Link ] Upper Transverse Link.
7 Nut
• Always replace if removed.
8 Shim
9 Nut
• 95 Nm
• Always replace if removed.
• Must be tightened in the curb weight position. Refer to => [ Wheel Bearing, with Coil Spring, Lifting to Curb Weight Position ] Rear Suspension.
10 Adjustment Bolt
11 Lower Transverse Link
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Lower Transverse Link ] Lower Transverse Link.
12 Bolt
• 120 Nm + 360° turn
• Always replace if removed.
• Must be tightened in the curb weight position. Refer to => [ Wheel Bearing, with Coil Spring, Lifting to Curb Weight Position ] Rear Suspension.
• Axle alignment is necessary if the bolt is removed.
13 Upper Spring Seat Spacer Washer

• Only installed on vehicles with heavy duty suspension.
15 Coil Spring
• Note different types of suspension versions. Refer to => [ Explanations of Production Control Numbers ] Application and ID.
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Coil Spring ] Removal and Replacement.

19 Spacer Tube
• Always replace if removed.
20 Nut
• Always replace if removed.
• Do not tighten the threaded connection using the nut.
• Axle alignment is necessary if the nut is loosened.
21 Bolt
• 90 Nm + 90° turn
• Always replace if removed.
• Must be tightened in the curb weight position. Refer to => [ Wheel Bearing, with Coil Spring, Lifting to Curb Weight Position ] Rear Suspension.
22 Tie Rod
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Tie Rod ] Rear Suspension.
• Pay attention to the installed position. Rear Suspension.
• There are versions made of aluminum and steel. Allocation, refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).
• A mixed installation is not permitted.

• Always replace if removed.
