Driver Side A-Pillar 6-Pin Connector Station

Removing






- Switch the ignition off.

- Disconnect the battery ground (GND) cable from the battery. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.

- Remove the lower left A-pillar trim panel..

- Press the retaining clip in the direction of the - arrow - and disengage the connector station - 3 - at the A-pillar.

- Unclip the fuse holder from the coupling station.

- Disconnect the airbag electrical connector - 1 -.

- Remove the mount - 2 - for the interior CAN cut-off connector (T46i). Refer to => [ Interior CAN Cut-Off Connector Mount ] Interior CAN Cut-Off Connector Mount.

- Remove the relay and control modules.






- Release the retaining clips - arrows - and press the relay carrier - 2 - back and out of the bracket - 1 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Install the interior CAN cut-off connector (T46i) mount. Refer to => [ Interior CAN Cut-Off Connector Mount ] Interior CAN Cut-Off Connector Mount.

- Connect the airbag electrical connector - 1 -. Refer to Removal and Installation.

- Install the lower left A-pillar trim panel..

- Connect battery. Required actions, refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.
