Right Instrument Panel Fuse Panel
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
• Trim Removal Wedge (3409)
Removing
- Switch the ignition off.
- Disconnect the battery ground (GND) cable from the battery. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.
- Remove glove compartment.
- Pry the instrument panel side cover off with the (3409) in the direction of the - arrow - and remove it.
- Release retaining clips - 1 - in the direction of the - arrow - and press the fuse panels - 2 - and - 3 - back and out of the fuse panel D (SD).
• Disregard item - 4 - in this example.
- Remove the fuses from the fuse panel.
- Release retaining clips in the direction of the - arrows - and remove the cover from the fuse panel.
- Remove connector retaining strip - 1 - in the direction of the - arrow - and remove connectors from plug-in socket.
• The exact assignment of the right instrument panel fuse panel can be found in the applicable wiring diagram.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
- Install glove compartment.
- Connect battery. Required actions, refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.
