Parking Assist Distance Sensor: Service and Repair

Rear Parking Aid Sensors (G203)/(G204)/(G205)/(G206),

Removing







Danger of unintended engine ignition.

Turn off the ignition and remove the ignition key from the vehicle interior for all work performed on the high voltage vehicle.

- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

Right Side of Vehicle - Vehicles with 4-Cylinder Engine:

- Remove the pin - arrow - and expanding clips - 1 -.

- Remove the nuts - 2, 3 and 5 -.

- Remove the rear floor panel trim - 4 -.

Continuation for All Sensors:






- Reach behind bumper cover from below.

- Press both retainer tabs to the side in the direction of the - arrows - and press the sensor - 2 - through from the outside towards the inside.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 1 - on the sensor.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
