Lane Change Assistance Control Modules (J769)/(J770)

Removing







Danger of unintended engine ignition.

Turn off the ignition and remove the ignition key from the vehicle interior for all work performed on the high voltage vehicle.

- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Remove the rear bumper cover. Refer to Removal and Installation.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 2 -.

- Remove screws - arrows -.

- Remove the lane change assist control module - 1 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Install the rear bumper cover. Refer to Removal and Installation.

If the bumper cover was removed, the lane change assistance control module (J769) / (J770) must be calibrated again. Refer to => [ Lane Change Assistance, Preparing for Calibration ] Lane Change Assistance, Preparing For Calibration.
