Bi-Xenon Gas Discharge Headlamps With Cornering Light







HID Headlamp Bulbs

Removing






- Switch vehicle ignition off

- Disconnect the battery ground (GND) cable from the battery. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.

- To remove the expanding clips - arrows -, carefully push the pin - 1 - to dimension - x - until it audibly engages into the expanding clip - arrow A -.

Dimension - x - = 5 mm.

- Remove the unlocked expanding clip - 2 - and the pin.

- Lift the cover - 3 - on the lock carrier and engage it on the radiator grille.

- Right side of the vehicle: Remove the air filter housing.

- Open the clip - 2 - in the direction of - arrow A -.






- Move the housing cover - 1 - to the side, in the direction of - arrow B - and remove it.

- Remove the screws - 2 - and - 4 -.






- Loosen the screws - 3 - three turns.

- Push the headlamp housing - 1 - forward all the way in the direction of the - arrow -.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 1 -.






- Turn the circlip - 2 - in the direction of the - arrows - and remove the HID lamp - 3 - from the housing.

Installing

Tightening specification, refer to => [ Bi-Xenon Headlamps with Cornering Light Overview ] Bi-Xenon Headlamps With Cornering Light Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Connect the connector and insert the new HID bulb in the housing. Do not touch the glass bulb with bare hands.

Installation position: the electrical connection faces down.

- Secure HID lamp with circlip.

- Close housing cover and secure with clip.

- Right side of the vehicle: Install the air filter housing.

- Install the lock carrier cover on the radiator grille. Refer to Removal and Installation.

- Connect battery. Required actions, refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.
