Front Exterior Door Handle Touch Sensors (G605)/(G606)

Removing







Danger of unintended engine ignition.

Turn off the ignition and remove the ignition key from the vehicle interior for all work performed on the high voltage vehicle.

- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Remove the outside door handle.

- Release the retaining tabs in the direction of the - A arrows - and remove the electrical connector - 3 -.

- Carefully release the retaining hooks in the direction of the - B arrows - using a small screwdriver and remove the wiring guide.

• Ignore items - 1 , 2 -.

- Position the screwdriver on the outside door handle as illustrated.






- Turn the screwdriver slightly and remove the outside door handle touch sensor forward from the handle.

- Remove the outside door handle touch sensor from the handle.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Slide the outside door handle touch sensor in until it engages audibly.

- Install the outside door handle.
