Interior Monitoring Switch (E183)/Alarm System Deactivation Switch (E217)

Removing







Danger of unintended engine ignition.

Turn off the ignition and remove the ignition key from the vehicle interior for all work performed on the high voltage vehicle.

- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Carefully pry trim - 1 - out of door trim, in the direction of the - arrow -, using a small screwdriver - 2 -.

- Disconnect the electrical connector.

- Carefully release retaining hooks in the direction of the - arrows - using a small screwdriver.






- Remove the interior monitoring switch/alarm system deactivation switch - 1 - back out of trim - 2 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order.
