Engine Oil Level, Checking with Oil Level Display

Note:
- Minimum engine oil temperature 140°F (60 °C).
- Vehicle must be in level position.
- After stopping engine, wait a few minutes to allow oil to flow back into oil pan.
- The oil level can be checked via the radio or the MMI.

- Select: function button CAR, menu > oil level.



- Read the oil level, fill the oil until the bars in the oil level display are just before "min".

Note:
- The level shown in the oil level display is for information purposes only. If the oil level is too low, Oil Min warning will appear in the instrument cluster.
- If the engine hood was opened, then the actual oil level will be displayed in the instrument cluster the next time the ignition is switched on.
