Convertible Top Compartment Open/Cover Switch -F407- and -F290-

Removing





- Remove the convertible top compartment cover hinge. Refer to => [ Convertible Top Compartment Cover Hinge ] Convertible Top Compartment Cover Hinge.

- Open the clips - arrows - and remove the left convertible top compartment cover switch (F290) - 1 - from its mount.

- Free up the wiring harness - 2 - on the convertible top compartment cover emergency release.

- Free up the wiring harness - 1 - on the hinge.





- Remove the bolt - 4 - and then remove the bracket - 3 -.

- Open the clips - arrows - and remove the convertible top compartment open switch (F407) - 2 - from its mount.

Installation

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Hinge and Hydraulic Cylinder Assembly Overview ] Hinge and Hydraulic Cylinder Assembly Overview.

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- Install the convertible top compartment cover hinge. Refer to => [ Convertible Top Compartment Cover Hinge ] Convertible Top Compartment Cover Hinge.
