Lock Cylinder

Removing





- Remove the rear lid trim panel..

- Remove the screws - 1 - and - 7 - and remove the lock cylinder anti-theft protection - 2 -.

- Unlock the lever - 6 - - arrow A - and remove the cable bracket - 3 - from the mount - arrow B -.

- Disengage the cable - 4 - from the actuator lever - 5 -.

- Turn the lock cylinder - 1 - to the right - arrow A - and remove it from the grip piece - 2 - - arrow B -.





Installation

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Rear Lid Lock and Striker Pin Assembly Overview ] Description and Operation.

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- Install the cable for the rear lid lock. Refer to => [ Rear Lid Lock Cable ] Rear Lid Lock Cable.

- Install the rear lid trim panel.
