Selector Mechanism Function Unit, Lower Section

Removing





- Remove the selector mechanism function unit. Refer to => [ Shift Mechanism Function Unit ] Shift Mechanism Function Unit.

- Push the rubber grommet - arrow - forward and out of the function unit.

- Remove the hooks - 1 and 2 -.





- Remove the bolts - arrows -.

- Pull the lower section - 1 - of the selector mechanism function unit slightly toward the rear and remove the bolts - arrows - from the centering bracket - 2 -.





- Remove the selector mechanism function unit lower section.

- Remove the center bracket upward, it must not be installed again.

• The center bracket is only needed for factory production.

Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Selector Mechanism Overview ] Selector Mechanism Overview.

- Install the selector mechanism function unit lower section into the opening from the top.

• Make sure the seal fits correctly on the selector mechanism function unit lower section.

- Guide the selector lever cable and rubber grommet - 3 - through the hole inside the selector mechanism function unit lower section.

- Tighten the bolts - arrows -.





- Install the hooks - 1 and 2 -.

- Install the rubber grommet - arrow - on the around the selector lever cable in the selector mechanism function unit lower section.





- Install selector mechanism function unit. Refer to => [ Shift Mechanism Function Unit ] Shift Mechanism Function Unit.
