Oil Pan






Oil Pan

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Oil Collecting and Extracting Device (V.A.G 1782)

Removing





- Remove the rear noise insulation - 2 -.

- Place the (V.A.G 1782) under the transmission.





- Remove the drain plug - 1 -.

- Drain the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF).

- Remove the oil pan bolts diagonally and remove the oil pan.

Installing





Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Oil Pan, Filter and Mechatronic Unit Overview ] Oil Pan, Filter and Mechatronic Unit Overview.

Replace the drain plug seal.

- Clean all magnets in the oil pan. Make sure that the magnets are in full contact with the oil pan.

- Install the oil pan with a new gasket - 1 -.

- Make sure the spacer sleeves - 2 - are in the new gasket - 1 -.

- Tighten the oil pan bolts, refer to => [ Oil Pan Bolt Tightening
Sequence and Specification ] Oil Pan, Filter and Mechatronic Unit Overview.





- Tighten the drain plug.

- Fill the ATF and check the level. Refer to => [ ATF, Draining Or Filling after Repair ] ATF, Draining or Filling After Repair.
