From the right charge air cooler

Replace

Replace

33 Air Guide Hose

From the left charge air cooler

Install the Air Duct Hoses and Screw-Type Clamps.





In order to be able to securely mount the air guide hoses on their connectors, spray the screws on the previously used clamps with a rust remover.

Tightening specification for

1. Clamp - a - = 13 mm wide: 5.5 Nm

2. Clamp - b - = 9 mm wide: 3 Nm


Removing the Air Guide Hose and Couplings





- Release the retaining tab - A - on the connector coupling by pulling the securing clip - arrow -.

- Remove the air guide hose without using any tools.

Installing the Air Guide Hose with the Connector Coupling.





Replace the O-ring for the air duct pipe and connector coupling if damaged.

Make sure the O-ring fits all the way around inside the groove on the air duct pipe.

Coat the sealing surface and the O-ring with a silicone-free lubricant.

- Pull the clip into the release position - 1 -.

- Install the air guide hose all the way and press the clamp into its locking position - 2 -.

- Press the air guide hose on again and pull to make sure the connection is engaged correctly.
